Super Bowl LVIII – 49ers Vs Chiefs – 22-25 Simply magnificent!

With the winning three Super Bowls in a row – 28 year old, now 3 times Most valuable player and 3 times Super Bowl champion, Patrick Mahomes added to the Chiefs’ ongoing dynasty in his just 7th NFL season and placed to a spot among the elite franchises in NFL history. Head Coach Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes & Co. orchestrated in overtime a beautiful display of quarterbacking. No quarterback or team has done it before, it has created a new benchmark for other young teams.

It was fanstastic show. The two best teams in the NFL played this superbowl and delivered a thrilling game. Both teams played well enough to win but finally with marvelous show, Chief’s claimed to take the trophy.

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, now played in four Super Bowls remained fans favorite as in the last match, he set the all-time career Super Bowl record last night with 9 field goals. He added 4 in the 25-22 overtime win over the San Fransisco 49ers.

Patrick Mahomes said at his SB MVP news conference, “It’s legendary. No one’s ever done it, and we knew it’s legendary to win back to back,” I think eight other teams have done it. We had heard it all week. We had talked to the guys about it and we felt like we had the best opportunity that we had ever had to go out there and do that and fell short the year before. As per the NFL research team- The Chiefs trailed the 49ers for 42 minutes and five seconds of Super Bowl LVIII, which is the second-most game time trailed by a victor in the game’s history. Kansas City Chiefs also became the first team in Super Bowl history to win after trailing on four separate occasions in the game.

“If he retired today, he’d be a first ballot hall of famer.” Boomer Esiason said for Patrick Mahomes. Notably, with this win Mahomes has become 3 times Super Bowl champion i.e. 2019 (LIV), 2022 (LVII) and 2023 (LVIII). The Chiefs became just the fourth team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a five-year stretch.

NFL Super Bowl LVIII – Lombardy Trophy handing over celebrations

During celebrations, 2 times Super Bowl champion and 1973 season’s LVIII Most valuable player – Larry Csonka passed over the Lombardy trophy to John Elway – the horonary captain SB XXXIII MVP. The trophy is named in honor of NFL coach Vince Lombardi, who led the Green Bay Packers to victories in the first two Super Bowl games.

MVP SB LVIII

Roger GOODELL, NFL Commissioner since 2006 said, “Thank you Las Vegas”. He handed over the Super Bowl LVIII MVP Trophy to Patrick. This becomes 3rd MVP trophy for Patrick.

The Kansas City Chief’s Head Coach Andy Reid confirmed about his return in 2024. When asked about the thought of retiring, he said,” “Honestly, I haven’t even thought about it, but I get asked it’. I haven’t had time to think about it.” People keep asking me, and I keep saying, ‘Why didn’t Belichick and Pete Carroll retire?

Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt said on Sunday night that Reid’s return was the expectation all along. During celebrations, he said,” I just want to celebrate the win.”

Energetic shout-out by Travis Kelce, “VIVA Las Vegas”, filled-up the energy to the mood of fans”. This time, his girlfriend Taylor Swift had come to SB LVIII to cheer-up the teams. Taylor was also present during the trophy celebrations when Travis spoke, her presence rose the temperature there in the stadium.

‘Viva Las Vegas’ is a term that is used for many years by residents and visitors to say – Long Live Las Vegas. This became more popular after a theme song was recorded by Elvis Presley starred in a 1964 movie named Viva Las Vegas.

Rashee Rice – First year in the league, First Super Bowl Champion

During match between 49ers Vs Chiefs, Rashee Rice held position of wide receiver. It was his first year in the league and he was lucky to get his first super bowl championship.
